Killing Floor LAN tutorial

Hey everybody. TheStranger here delivering that Killing Floor LAN tutorial I promised. But before we get to that I'd just like to mention the sad leaving of Thecoldblade, he will be missed...not to worry though! Titan is eager to start posting!

Anyway let's get to KF. So I will be telling you/showing you two methods to make KF lanable. The first is if you have the legit steam version of KF and second for the KFpub version which you can find on The Pirate Bay.

First method:
This is fairly easy to achieve, it is actually extremely easy. All you have to do is download Revloader for your version of KF (The latest version is v1036 I think) and put it in your KF source folder. You then run it from the Revloader.exe and it should take you into the game without needing steam allowing you to LAN!

PS: I would list Revloader download links but there are just so many version it would probably take up most of this page so just google it with your version of KF.

Second method:
This method is used if you have downloaded the KFpub version from PB. This method is slightly different to the previous one because it involves you altering some details in a notepad file (I will go step by step). In your KF folder you should see two KF icons (one is green and one is red).

There will also be a file called rev.ini, you will need to open this file in something like Notepad. Now for some explanation, this is what my rev.ini looks like; an important step to remember is if you have Steam installed on your PC you need to write "true" where it says SteamClient under emulator. If you make everything else true you will log into the game with all perks on the highest rank.

If you do not want this turn everything to false apart from the SteamClient (only if you have Steam installed). Do not make CacheEnabled true! It will give you an error and the game will not start!
If you have followed these steps correctly your KF should be ready to LAN!
This is TheStranger out.
