Where to get LAN fixes

This post will tell 3 different ways and places that you can get LAN fixes, real offline lan fixes.
TeknoGods

The first and best way is to go to the website that keeps on giving constant LAN fixes and you get the power by being able to vote for which game you want the lan fix to be made for next, here is the link to the website www.teknogods.com/ . Hazardous has been using his stuff to LAN for a very long time. The only problem with it is that you have to have the original game for most of the fixes, but that can be fixed by just replacing the cracked exe with the original one.

The second place I look for a crack is on the VPN network site called tunngle, all the games that don't use smart steam or green Luna will work offline with LAN the ones that do you will need an active internet connection. They usually just have an exe that you just have to replace so it is pretty easy.

The last and most obvious way is to just Google the games name and add the words offline LAN fix, the problem with this is that there are lots of people who make fake fixes that end up in them wanting you to enter a password to a zip or a website wanting you to do a survey.

These places are keeping LAN alive while more and more companies (EA) are releasing their games with no LAN options.

Ghost signing out.

Intel vs AMD

Right so I'm going to assume everyone reading this has some basic knowledge and understanding of CPUs.

When choosing components for your new PC among the most crucial is the CPU or Processor. This is the actual "brain" of your PC so to speak, there are many things to consider when choosing a CPU for your PC.

One of the first things that come to mind when narrowing down the options between Intel and AMD is price.

AMD is famously well priced for the amount of power you're getting, Intel however is more highly priced, this comes down to the barebones of the processor, so its core architecture, multi-cores etc.

AMDs latest core architecture is called Trinity however you're more likely to have Bulldozer. Intels latest core architecture is called Ivy-Bridge however its more likely that you're processor would have Sandy-Bridge.

When it comes down to core architecture Intel is the winner hands down, AMD is notorious for having messy core-architecture. Intel however is well known to have a clean and structured architecture. But its quite likely that you won't be basing your choice highly on the core architecture.

So power, power is a relatively redundant argument in terms of these two companies, they will constantly be matching each other in power and no matter which you choose sooner or later the other company will match or better that. But power is not always what it appears to be, you can have a CPU advertising 3.7ghz which sounds awesome, but what if that's stuck in a single core processor, its pretty lame. That's where all these terms or Dual-Core, Quad-Core and in HighVoltages case a Tri-Core :P These are CPUs that have multiple cores (duh!) Which allow the CPU to do and handle more requests that you give it.

Currently AMD has the CPU with the most cores, 16 of them, but I doubt this will factor into your choice as its really, really, really expensive.

So basically both companies have pros and cons, many more than are just discussed here, and I feel it really comes down to personal preference and budget. If you're building a new PC, do some research and really know what you're getting before you get it.

Far Cry 2 Review -)>>

Hello there! So the weekends over, and this means that chilling time is over ;) I don't really like Mondays, its the start of everything except gaming. Well I don't really have much choice... Falmers are hard to negotiate with.
And I apologize  for being a day late, I had technical problems - my computer FROZE ;)
Ok lets get down to business. Today I am reviewing Far Cry 2, which is an awesome game, single player and for LANs. It is quite old but the awesomeness doesn't really die.

Well I am sure most gamers have played Far Cry 2. And if you haven't, you have been missing out. I don't really wanna spoil the storyline for you but I'll give you some info. Your character gets a Malaria infection while he/she is on Africa. The whole story takes place in Africa and you can drive vehicles, fly, swim and drive boats around the huge map (There are actually two huge maps and as the storyline goes, you are transported to the 2nd map and you can switch between the two by traveling). You can free roam. This means you can travel anywhere you want and do anything you like. You choose your own weapons and choose your approach to eliminate your enemies (Nothing better than slicing your enemies with a huge cold machete).

Okay lets start review system Thestranger made

Story
The story is quite good. NPCs give you missions that you have to complete and there are also side missions. There are two armies fighting against each other and if you do more missions on one side, then the other side stops giving you missions. You get "buddies" who help you out and revive you if your health depletes fully. I don't want to ruin the story for you so play it and see for yourself. Its not the story that's the best but its the action and gameplay that you will enjoy.

GFX

Far Cry 2 was released in 2008, and the graphics are really good for a 2008 game. Most of the special effects are awesome. Far Cry 2 was famous for its fire effects, which are very realistic and it spreads through trees an the jungle if you set a fire (Fire and thecoldblade does not go well together :( not really my favourite thing). I, personally love the graphics and the effects in FC2.

9 OUT OF 10

Gameplay

Gameplay is what makes this game on of the best. You can drive vehicles, swim, glide and fast travel your way throughout the map. You choose your approach, whether its stealth or guns blazing. Some nice features in this game is that you have to find and collect diamonds and then use the diamonds to buy weapons. You can choose from a variety. You can also buy cars, boats and gear (such as camo and ammo puches) and then refill and collect them at a gun shop.

Another realistic feature is that guns lose their reliability an then jams. So you better get to a safehouse and replace your weapons (there is an unlimited supply at a gun house after purchase). You can choose sniper rifles, light machine guns, sub machine guns, pistols and launchers... So strategise and equip yourself before going into the mission. You can also choose the time of day you that you want to go on the mission. There is a lot more features so play the game to find out. One of the coolest features is when your health is low, you bleed, so what you have to do is take cover and go through a healing process in which you pull out bullets from your skin or fix broken limbs :) - you should play the game to find out what it looks like.

Multiplayer is also extremely good. You Get diamonds when you level up and these can be used to unlock weapons in a particular class. There is also a variety of game modes. Its very fun to LAN.
A really excellent feature is that you can create your own map in any way you like. You can be the creator and create maps small or big and add you choice of terrain. And when you are the host and you choose your created map, it just downloads automatically to the other player's computer and all of you can play on your custom map.
Personally, this game has one of the best gameplays.

9 OUT OF 10
User Friendliness
The interface is very easy to use and there aren't any bugs or glitches in the game. The menu is really cool since it takes the form of a journal. One thing that I don't like in the game is the weapon swapping. It doesn't bother me much but its still annoying. Other than that, the game is very user friendly.

9 OUT OF 10

Misc
Well as I mentioned earlier, the fire is very realistic. In fact it had the most realistic fire ever made in a game. The multiplayer is very competitive and thrilling. The game obviously has the LAN option.

8 OUT OF 10

The Verdict

Far Cry 2 is a must have game, and if you haven't played it, you should. Far Cry 3 is coming out soon with improvements and better gameplay. Far Cry 2 is is not to be missed out!

Syndicate review and more!

Hello everybody! Enjoying your weekend? Well hopefully it's about to get better, but enough small talk! Tonight I bring you a review of EA's Syndicate, so let's get to it! BTW if you noticed the lack of a couple of posts or posts that just suddenly disappeared it's because I removed them. It's part of my bringing-you-the-best philosophy and I didn't think they cut it.

For those of you that don't know, Syndicate is a not-too-old FPS with a near-futuristic flare. Firstly, one thing to bare in mind...In 2017 the largest corporate merger in history occurs creating EuroCorp. As is characteristic of situations like these, the rest of the world's large corporations feared EuroCorp's influence and combined into their own mega corporations. Thus, Syndicates are born.

In 2025 EuroCorp releases the DART chip, a neural implant that allows the user to directly connect to the Internet and other electronic devices -  a system that EuroCorp calls the Dataverse. Because of this new-found power the world's governments collapse and Syndicates start to take over countries. Half of the world's population reject the chip and become socially lost. Corporate espionage ensues. Now rampant, Syndicates start to invest in "Agents" (Bio-engineered soldiers that protect their Syndicate's interest).

In the year 2069 (this is where the story begins) you take the role of Miles Kilo, EuroCorp's newest Agent.
EuroCorp implants their latest DART 6 chip into him and sends him on his way to do their bidding.

Let's start off with the storyline.

WARNING: This may contain spoilers.

Story

Do not think that this is going to be a Bioware tear-jerker, because it's not. Syndicate has quite a thrilling start with you being thrown immediately into the action. The story then continues with you carrying out all of EuroCorp's dirty work, mainly against other Syndicates. The story of Syndicate is fairly entertaining but (in my opinion) leaves a lot to be desired.  The ending left a bit of a poor taste in my mouth, but it is far from the worst I have seen.

GFX

Syndicate had a lot of nice visual effects as can be expected from a AAA game. There was a nice contrast between the dark, dusty tunnels of the downtown cities, and the light, sophisticated environments of the rich suburbs. Syndicate can be easily played on a medium-end PC whilst still producing effects that will have you saying "OOOOH".

Gameplay

Syndicate is your run-of-the-mill shoot, beat and kill FPS. Its gameplay seemed oddly familiar reminding me a lot of Deus Ex: HR. While it didn't display much innovation or redefine the genre it was still a lot of fun to play.

User-friendliness

The menu's in Syndicate were easy to navigate and user friendly. The loading screens didn't take long to get you in game and - in my play through - I could not find one glitch to speak of. Something that did start to annoy me after awhile was the chromatic aberration. I know it plays in well with the whole theme of the game and it does look cool the first few times that you enter, it eventually starts to irritate your eyes and make you wish you could auto-adjust the screen.

Misc.

As far as the miscellaneous aspects of the game go, there isn't too much to talk about. It does have a four-player co-op mode that I haven't had the pleasure of trying but, from what I've seen, looks pretty decent. If you enjoyed the SP you should definitely try the MP since it is the same agent-type gameplay just with another three people.
8 out of 10

The verdict
Syndicate is a FPS that doesn't reinvent the genre or bring a story that will drive you to tears, but it does have nice GFX and fun, glitch-free gameplay. If you have the opportunity you should definitely play this game. Don't expect your mind to be blown, but do expect to be intrigued.

Facts & Records You Never Knew

Whazzup everyone!

Today I'm going to be talking about some interesting game facts as well as records!
Lets begin...

1. The youngest professional gamer is 14! He's name is Victor De Leon III (boss name) aka "Lil Poison". So 14 isn't that young, but get this at the age of 5 he was competing in the Major League Games for Halo. 2 years later he signed a deal with the organisers of Major League Gaming and then was classified as the the youngest signed professional video gamer.

2. The worlds biggest computer gaming joypad weighs around 68kg, it measures 2.43M x 1.01M x 0.22M. It's fully-functional and its to scale of the NES joypad.

DAMN!

3. Longest game(s) have to go to the Elder Scrolls series. I read up on some forums and to complete Skyrim fully it can take up to 300 hours! By that time W A S D on you keyboard will have disintegrated

4.The top 5 games downloaded off BirTorrent in 2011 were Crysis 2, MW3, BF3, FIFA 12 and Portal 2. All of them had over 3 million downloads!

5. Minecraft maps are 8 times bigger than earth, so I guess we will never see the 'edge' of a Minecraft map. Unless we teleport

MW3 I HAVE A DREAM -NIGHTMARE

Hey guys today i will finally be talking about mw3 which i promised ages ago(but i was very busy playing the  game :) ).So what i will be talking about is online multiplayer and gameplay. One thing that i appreciated was that now you can easily keep track of killstreaks and with hardline pro for every two assists you gain a kill towards you kill count.

They seem to have balanced O.P weapons (i miss akimbo g18 in MW2)but rapid fire combined with kick seems to be a favourite among players in mw3.One negative that i can firmly mention is HACKing ,wallhacking, aimbot and godmode seem to be favourites this eliminates fair gameplay and frustrates gamers like my self but on a positive note, votes can be called against them.I enjoy the gameplay and that they focused mainly on gun fights but was disappointed at the layout of maps and that large open maps where not evident this can ruin the game for snipers :( .

Killstreaks are also harder to acquire and chaining killstreaks is the best way to get a higher killstreak reward eg.ac130 .A nice bonus for players that often used bling (MW2) weapon proficiencies have been added this is of course a result of the more intense gun fights.More weapons and attachment commbinations can help a player use his own play style.

more challenges ,new callsigns and emblems help a player show his skills and achievements more levels of prestige have been introduced for players who enjoy showing their dedication to the game.In all it's a well-rounded game and does not last long for campers. Not as fast paced as MW2 but additions and strike packages allow more versatile gameplay(I personaly enjoy shooting down care packages  lol ).

We (at hazardous) have managed to lan the spec ops mode using "tekno god" this still however requires the original steam copy.So enjoy the game and i hope you enjoyed reading

Thecoldblade is in!

Hey guys what's up? Before I start, I would like to say that TheStranger forgot to add me to the Blog and only added me today.... after constant pestering on my part. Was he expecting me to post without adding me? Seriously man!  Anyways, I always wanted to expose TheStranger... this is what "he" really is:

OK, just kidding he's not really a Falmer... He might even be more hideous...
-__- TS)

Its winter in the southern hemisphere, which means I am really strong this time of the year... In summer, well that's another story - I put my blade in the freezer (guys u have to admit this is cool, literally).

Moving on, I will give you a website that will be quite useful to any gamer. The website is called "Gratis Juegos". You can access this website by 'Googling it... or just click here. From this website you can literally download anything you want. From games on any console to movies and premium anti-virus guards. (Just use this for test purposes and then try buying the actual game... I don't wanna encourage getting everything for free... what would Notch say?). Okay so all you have to do in this website is type the name of the game you want to download on the search bar that says "buscar"on the top right corner of the screen (its a Spanish website by the way, but the search results come in English).

Almost all the games are downloaded part by part so i really recommend that you use this application called "Jdownloader".
What this downloader allows you to do is download a lot of files from file sharing sites without you having to click on each link and wait for the loading times. How this works is you copy all the links and paste it on the Jdownloader's download tab. All files will be downloaded automatically... this method would help a lot if you have a slow Internet connection.

Some games would be downloaded part by part which also means that you can download the game partially during a day and then continue downloading the next day.
If you have an Android or an Apple device, you can also get iPhone, iPad or Android games using this website.

I have never gotten a virus by using this website, but be sure to have a good anti-virus software installed. if you don't have one, then use this website to get one... once again i would like to mention that I don't particularly encourage downloading everything for free.
I might be reviewing Far Cry 2 next week so keep an eye out.

This is Thecoldblade, sending a chill down your spine -)>>
